Would you rather publish a set of hubs at once or will you publish them one by one?

If you have a set of hubs ready to be published, say 5-10 hubs drafted, not yet published. Would you rather publish a set of hubs at once or will you publish them one by one? What do you think is a better strategy to get good page views?

I would and always have published one by one. This way you get the full attention on the one hub and are more likely to get more views than overwhelming readers with too many hubs at once. Hope this helps. Good luck!

If the hubs are linked to each other I publish them all at once. If they are independent I publish them one-by-one so that my followers have a chance read them without burning out. Does that make sense?

Thanks collegedad! Definitely, that makes sense. To add to your point, if I have hubs that are connected to each other, I would want to provide links from 1 hub to the next hub. But yeah, in this case publishing at once is for sure a great idea!

Yes, you definitely want to link related hubs because google measures how long a reader stays on your page before leaving, so keeping them engaged by providing more links in your work is a good idea.

This is a great question.  I have wondered the same thing and have thought I would do maybe 4 or 5 along the same subject type then publish at one time.  But JThomp42 has a good point about overwhelming readers. I'm going to hold off on doing it but very interested in the answers you receive to this question.

Thanks ThelmaC. Totally agree with you on that!
Frankly, when I have more than 4-5 hubs ready for publishing, somehow I cannot hold myself from publishing them for too long. But, I think I should probably hold back, to improve page views and traffic.

I would publish them one by one, to keep people continuously interested in my work. Especially, if the hubs are related in subject, they would serve as a set of cliff hangers for your readers.

I would prefer one by one, so that my followers can get equal time to read my hubs. Publishing, them at one go is never a good idea.

On a side note, it seems that HP parameters "like" when you publish one at a time. Publishing more than one at the same time has a tendency to lower you Hubber rating since hubs start out with a lower hub score and gradually increase.

Luis I hadn't thought about the Hubber rating.  You are absolutely right.

Thanks Luis. Yes you are right! I have faced this. I had once published 3 hubs in less than 24 hours and my rating dropped. Also, I observed when I publish more than one hub at a time, they tend to be in 'pending'  state for a longer time.

I tend to publish them in batches, but that is only as it suits how I write.

That said, I always publish hubs in groups if they are inter-related or link to each other otherwise it will seem strange to be referring to a hub that does not yet exist.

I am not sure how it effects my hits as my hubs are not very often read be fellow hubbers, more from the internet at large and I am not sure it would make any difference to the search engines.

This is a question I have come across before.  There are two camps of opinion. One says publish them all as fast as possible to get them out there, get views, and get them indexed by search engines as fast as possible.  The other camp says publish them in an orderly manner, one by one, to build up your reputation as an active writer and to build some momentum.  I lean towards the later camp, especially if the Hubs are about the same or related topic.  That way you can start generating a buzz that may get more viewership as you continue to publish, rather than dumping them out there all at once, which may cause some Hubs to be overlooked by people who would otherwise find them interesting.

Lately, I've been publishing them as a set of 5 or 6 within a few days.  If my schedule allows, I prefer to do it once a week, but sometimes, it's nice to focus on just writing all day and night for a few days.  I like it either way but spreading it out is preferred, if I can arrange it with my day job.

I'd rather publish them one by one. For me, publishing one hub a day would be good ^_^

Definitely publish one by one.   Google likes to see an "active" account, where new information is being published regularly - so you'll make a better impression by publishing a new Hub once a week, than by publishing a heap all at once, then nothing for months.

I like to publish them all at once so that google can get them into the search results as quickly as possible, although in terms of internal (hubpages) page views, you may get more by holding them back? I'm not sure, haven't quite figured out the trends on this site yet!

I have written over 100 hubs and I feel it is in my best interest to publish each hub by themselves.  One reason it creates a continuous flow of writing rather than a blast of hubs at one time.  Hubs which have a theme or subject area I feel gets better traction by being published individually.
